Mom's Bean 'n Bacon Salad

Total Time: 10 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 2 (16 ounce) cans green beans, drained and cooked on high for 10 minutes,cooled
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/3 cup salad oil
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 can pimiento
  • 4 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • 2 teaspoons vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 4 slices bacon, crisply cooked and crumbled

Recipe

  • 1 mix salad ingredients.
  • 2 mix dressing ingredients.
  • 3 put into serving container and put dressing on top of the salad.
  • 4 top with cooked, crumbled bacon.
  • 5 from the family recipe box, in mom's handwriting.
  • 6 these days, i'd add a bit of tabasco, to taste.
