Steak Salad With Buttermilk Dressing

Total Time: 33 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 3 mins

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces steak (boneless beef top sirloin)
  • 8 cups lettuce (torn mixed greens)
  • 1/4 cup basil (fresh finely shredded)
  • 2 carrots (cut into thin bite size strips)
  • 1 cup tomato (yellow or red pear shaped tomatoes, halved)
  • 1 red bell pepper (cut into thin bite sized strips)

Recipe

  • 1 if desired partially freeze meat for easier slicing.
  • 2 arrange salad greens on four dinner plates.
  • 3 set aside.
  • 4 trim fat from meat.
  • 5 cut meat across the grain into thin bite - sized strips.
  • 6 lightly coat an unheated large skillet with cooking spray: heat over medium - high heat.
  • 7 add meat strips.
