Sweet & Sour Asparagus

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 1 lb asparagus, steamed for 8 minutes
- 1/4 cup lite olive oil or 1/4 cup virgin olive oil, if you prefer
- 3/4 cup vinegar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3 cinnamon sticks
- 1 teaspoon whole cloves
- 1 teaspoon celery salt
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- lettuce leaf (optional)
Recipe
- 1 combine all the ingredients (except asparagus) in a saucepan bring to a boil.
- 2 pour over the asparagus and refrigerate for 24 hours serve on lettuce leaves (optional).
