Self Crusting Quiche

Ingredients
- Servings: 6
- 3 eggs
- 1/4 pint cream
- 1/2 pint milk
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 cup grated cheese
- 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 2 slices bacon, fried and chopped
- 1 bunch spinach, washed,stems removed,cooked and roughly chopped
- 2 tomatoes
- salt
- freshly ground black pepper
- 1/2 cup blue cheese, crumbled
Recipe
- 1 whisk the eggs, cream and milk and set aside.
- 2 mix the flour, baking powder, onion and grated cheese.
- 3 add to this the egg mixture and combine.
- 4 add the melted butter and season with salt and pepper.
- 5 pour this mixture into a well greased quiche/flan dish.
- 6 then add all other ingredients- this ensures the filling is distributed evenly.
- 7 bake in moderate oven for approxiamately 40 minutes or until the center feels set when pressed.
- 8 this is yummmmmmy served with a lettuce salad.
