Oriental Salad

Total Time: 15 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 3 tablespoons vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 seasoning packet from ramen noodles
  • 1 (14 ounce) package preshredded coleslaw mix
  • 1 (4 ounce) package oriental-flavor instant ramen noodles, crushed
  • 1 (11 ounce) can mandarin oranges, drained
  • 1 (2 ounce) package slivered almonds or 1 (2 ounce) package sunflower seeds
  • 3 green onions, sliced fine
  • 1 (6 ounce) package la choy snow pea pods (thawed) (optional)

Recipe

  • 1 in a large mixing bowl combine the dressing: oil, vinegar, sugar, salt, and seasoning packet from ramen noodles.
  • 2 add the salad ingredients: cole slaw mix, ramen noodles, mandarine oranges, almonds or sunflower seeds, and green onion.
  • 3 mix well and serve with crushed ramen noodles.
